Kirkland Smoked Wild Salmon From Costco

Costco is the only place where I buy smoked salmon.  Costco smoked salmon is a very good quality wild salmon, and it costs half of what other places charge for smoked salmon! The smoked salmon from Costco is the Kirkland brand, and the package size is 1 lb.  A great thing is that this Costco salmon is packaged in 2 separate packages (8 oz each) that are connected together to add up to 1 lb of salmon.  The packages are individually sealed, which means you are opening just 8 ounces of smoked salmon at a time, so you don’t have to worry about eating the whole pound of smoked salmon within a week of opening. The Costco salmon is no ordinary smoked salmon – it’s a Wild Alaskan Smoked Sockeye salmon, and it tastes great. This particular salmon has a natural red color – no artificial colors added! Here’s the description from the back of the package of Kirkland smoked salmon: “In the ice cold waters off the coast of Alaska, our Kirkland Signature Wild Alaskan Smoked Sockeye Salmon is caught fresh and immediately frozen, ensuring the freshest and highest quality of sockeye salmon available.  These Sockeye are specially selected [...]

Costco Kirkland Frozen Stir Fry Vegetables

Costco sells excellent frozen vegetables for stir fry.  The brand of these frozen vegetables is Kirkland, and they are called “Kirkland Stir Fry Vegetable Blend”.  They are labeled as premium frozen vegetables, no preservatives, all natural, excellent source of Vitamin C. Costco Kirkland Frozen Stir-Fry Vegetable Blend has the following vegetables as its ingredients: broccoli, green beans, sugar snap peas, carrots, red bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, baby corn and yellow onions.  If you had to buy all those vegetables separately and had to chop them, imagine how much work it would be and how much money it would cost!  Using these high quality frozen vegetables for stir fry is a great time and money saver. The Costco package of these frozen vegetables is 5.5 lbs.  The package is resealable, so it’s easy to store in a freezer.  These frozen vegetables should always be stored in a freezer – just take out the amount of vegetables that you need and return the package back to the freezer.   I put this huge package of stir-fry vegetables in my freezer, and it lasts me for a month or two.  I love to make stir-fries, and if I don’t have any fresh [...]
