These cupcakes are adorable and decked out in red, white and blue just in time for July 4th! Lyndsay of Kitchen DoughDough created is a fan of these Dr. Suess characters from the children's book, "The Cat in the Hat." It's all about the hair!

Red Velvet cupcakes in red liners were topped with vanilla frosting and crowned with puffs of blue cotton candy to create this edible whimsical duo. You can make these cupcakes at home by following Lyndsay's blog instructions.
