Cupcakes for Your iPhone

Cupcakes Apps for the iPhone
from the iTunes Store

The iCupcake is a cute app if you like cupcakes and you have friends who like cupcakes. You build a cupcake with your selection 0f cake, frosting, topping and candle. Email it to a friend on a birthday or fun greeting. I have this on my iPhone and friends are amused to receive a cupcake. At $1.99 I feel it's worth the price.

There are two versions of the Cupcake Wallpaper by Laura E. Martin. Sets 1 and 2 are each priced at $1.99. Each set containers different versions of cupcake prints for your iPhone wallpaper. Personally, I passed on it because I'd rather upload my own favorite cupcake photos.

The Cupcake Taps is a game which increases in difficulty at each level. Basically you just tap each cupcake to obtain points. At only $.99 it's a cute game of mindless distraction. There are 6 different cupcakes and 8 different backgrounds, which is enough variety to keep you from getting bored at the first impression.

42 Restaurants is on sale for $6.99 until July 7th. After that date the price will increase to $8.99. Consider this food porn. This app features recipes and beautiful photos from some of the top 50 restraurants and chefs from around the world. The list contains 40 Michelin stars combined.

Truth be told, there is only 1 cupcake in this app (Chocolate Cupcake from Flour Bakery & Cafe in Boston.) However, the app does feature restaurant, chef and recipe and contact info on each of the 42 recipes. The photos feaure to die-for-images. If you are a foodie, you would enjoy this. I downloaded the free sample app that has 4 recipes. It is a quality app.
