Internet Cooking Husband and I made a few joint resolutions over the weekend. One of them was that we'd stop having our casual glass-cum-bottle of wine on weeknights. We also pledged to halt sugary indulgences and re-commit to the gym.
I'm desperately trying to find a loop hole that can get me out of this.
Meanwhile, I've perfected the perfect recipe for a sneaky whiskey toddy for one. What's that? I mean, spiced tea. I'm drinking spiced tea, honey...
Hot water - amount will vary depending on your mud, but roughly a cup
4 T. Whiskey
1 Tea bag
1 T. Lemon juice
1 T. Honey
Slice of lemon
Small nub of ginger, peeled
Place the cinnamon stick, slice of lemon, peeled ginger, and tea bag into a regular-sized mug.
Using a regular tablespoon (rather than a measuring tablespoon), add the whiskey and lemon juice. Fill the mug with hot water, and stir in one tablespoon of honey.
