New Year, New Outlook

So, here's the deal. 2009...It wasn't so bad. It wasn't fabulous, I can say that but I didn't starve for sure and I have all of my loved ones on the same continent so I am not going to moan and groan. I am a lucky woman. I have neglected you my sweet readers. I have left you out of my life for a long time because I have been bitchy and tired and unreasonably sad. I will not do that this year. This year I will clue you in...even if a recipe is not involved...I am worth more than a recipe right? I am a mother, a wife, a nice friend..(I hope) and I will include those things in my blog as well. I may not be able to afford providing you with mouth watering recipes and photos every week but I will do what I can. I am hoping that 2010 provides more clients. It has been slow. Very slow.Perhaps I will find ways to create economical desserts that can do double duty so that you and I can save more money? Maybe delicious desserts that don't add 20 inches to our thighs? Perhaps not...I love cream, butter, chocolate, sugar....the guilty stuff. We'll see.For now I will provide you with some of my favorite pictures from 2009. And I will see you all very soon. VERY soon. Love you all and miss you. Thanks for sticking with me this past year!

Oh yeah, and my resolutions for this year...the first in a LONG time...maybe you all can help hold me accountable.1. Connect with friends more.2. Lose 2 pounds a month3. Write my cookbook proposal by October. (that is the scariest one)4. Communicate more even if it may make someone upset

OH, and of course....be good! But not too good! That's boring :)
